Important Announcement

Aloha Polehana,

I am writing to you with an important update about the pole studio. I want to start by expressing my sincere gratitude for the wonderful community you have helped to create here at Pole Hale. Your support has meant the world to me.

I am so excited to announce that as of July 1st, 2024 the studio will be under the new ownership of Laura Gisi (aka Maive).

I originally took over the studio from the previous owner because I didn't want to lose my newfound passion, happy place and community when Nicole left the island.  However, I believe the studio would thrive in the hands of someone with a more aligned skillset. Maive has a history of successful studio ownership (she opened and operated a yoga studio in Texas prior to moving to Hawaii and also owns an adventure & wellness retreat business - Three Peas Adventures - which offers wellness trips all over the world). It’s been an honor to serve this big-hearted, badass community, and I look forward to continuing my journey as an instructor & friend.

The value of the pole studio has been created through the support of members like yourselves. Maive recognises the importance of the goodwill created through these relationships and is keen to ensure she protects that value by working hard to keep you happy and challenged. She really loves and respects this business, understands how to operate it properly, and is capable of developing its future potential. In order to make it the best it can possibly be, the studio will be undergoing some important changes including: new branding, new business model, and enhanced curriculum to name a few. However, the core values and community will remain the same. You will still receive the same high-quality service that you've come to expect and all of the instructors you know and love (including myself) will still be here to support you through your journey.

In order to make this transition as seamless as possible, we will be closing the studio for the first week of July (1st-7th). Classes will resume again on July 8th. You will soon be receiving important information from Maive about the new business structure as well as details on how to sign up for classes, so you can be ready to go as soon as we reopen.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we make this transition. Both Maive and myself are here for you and happy to answer any questions you may have.
